On January 9th, 2020, IPRC hosted Jim Kaufman, PhD, VP of Public Policy for Children’s Hospital Association, to share an update on current legislative happenings on Capitol Hill that impact children.

Objectives: At the end of the session, each participant will:
- Gain an understanding of the federal health policy landscape, election returns and where children’s health fits in.
- Learn about opportunities to improve children’s health and what potential barriers stand in the way.
- Understand how to be an effective advocate for children.
