Pediatric Feeding in a World of “Medical Necessity”: Outcomes that Matter was presented by Cuyler M. Romeo, M.O.T, OTR/L, SCFES, CLS on February 9th, 2017.
Cuyler Romeo is currently the Director of Occupational Therapy at Mealtime Connections, LLC in Tuscon, Arizona where she acts as the lead educator for feeding interventions and is responsible for strategic goal planning and outcome development. Her experience as a clinician as well as in administrative and program development roles is extensive including work in the NICU, Outpatient, and home based settings. Cuyler’s background also includes work developing community partnerships to provide sustainable service delivery models in her home state.
Cuyler received her Bachelors and Master degrees in Allied Health Science and Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. Her career in Occupational Therapy has cultivated interests and expertise in specialty areas of pediatric feeding and work with high risk infants. Ms. Romeo holds several certifications including: Infant Massage, Vital Stim, Lactation Counseling, Pediatric Handling, and is Specialty Board Certified in Feeding, Eating and Swallowing. She also serves on the AOTA Board for Specialty Certifications. In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Romeo is well published on the topic of Pediatric Feeding and enjoys lecturing professionally.
