Summary of Responses
Response from query originator:
- Practice setting-Hospital based outpatient rehab
- Productivity metric-75%. Our productivity metric is on the high end of responses, most fell in the 60-65% range.
- Account for non-billable care- we do all the things you all shared- evals weighted more heavily, therapists booked at 88-90%, looking into a non-billable “charge”, cancels/no shows used for non-billable care.
- No double booking
- Our treatment sessions and evals are 60 minutes.
- We schedule 1 hour of documentation time per day (8-10 hour day). If a therapist is in a multidisciplinary clinic (MDC) where they will have 4 evals, they get an additional hour of documentation time.
- Cancel no show rate is 25-30%
- Our standard is to have 5 evals per week, though some will have more. New hires will have less. MDC’s can increase the number of evals for a therapist per week and patients can self-book an eval in a treatment slot if not filled within 3-5 days out.
