Meet Susan Dubroff, IPRC Steering Committee Member
Susan is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she oversees both inpatient and outpatient rehab services, and is co-director of the Feeding Disorders Program. Her clinical background is as a physical therapist and she is highly interested in data collection and its use in program development. Susan has been involved with IPRC for several years, serving on the Steering Committee since 2011.Susan’s leadership extends well beyond IPRC. She has served as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice related to investigation of violations against the rights of children and persons with disabilities and is currently a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
When Susan reflects on her experience with IPRC, she sums up the value it provides her organization as this: “...Being able to network and collaborate with other pediatric rehabilitation specialists through the IPRC assists all of us in identifying best practices and raising the standard of quality care that we aspire to provide.”
