Original Question(s): AUD Auditory Processing Disorder Providers:

We are currently using CD and DVD players for our APD test materials.  We are researching using digital files (WAV files) through otosuite via the USB.

  1. What technology are you using to present your APD stimuli?
  2. Have you found that it is more difficult to pause and/or rewind?   (especially for the SSW)
  3. Any other words of advise or wisdom in moving from CD/DVD to digital technology?

Response:

“We have uploaded our sound files to a shared Google Drive that we access through iPads that we have connected to our audiometers through a splitter cable. We play the files from the iPads.  They have been great, are easy to navigate, and easy to pause.  Happy to share a photo of how we have set it up if you are interested.”
