Original Question(s): AUD Auditory Processing Disorder Providers:
We are currently using CD and DVD players for our APD test materials. We are researching using digital files (WAV files) through otosuite via the USB.
- What technology are you using to present your APD stimuli?
- Have you found that it is more difficult to pause and/or rewind? (especially for the SSW)
- Any other words of advise or wisdom in moving from CD/DVD to digital technology?
Response:
“We have uploaded our sound files to a shared Google Drive that we access through iPads that we have connected to our audiometers through a splitter cable. We play the files from the iPads. They have been great, are easy to navigate, and easy to pause. Happy to share a photo of how we have set it up if you are interested.”
