- What does your staffing model look like to cover the hours the clinic is open?
Additional Explanation: I’m checking with you all to see if you have any great ideas about outpatient staffing and clinic hours! We are starting to hear from clinicians- “we want flexibility” and/or “we don’t want to work until 6 pm every day”. We also offer five days/week schedules…but ask that a majority of the days (3) are until 6 pm. I haven’t had many takers on that schedule, either. I’m sure, like you all, our families need the later afternoon times …after school…which is why we need our therapists to stay/work a majority of those days until 6. So the question is: Do you have a model that allows for flexibility but still covers the late afternoon times? I would love your ideas!
