This 3-hour virtual continuing education event hosted by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Rehabilitation is open to occupational therapists and physical therapists.
This introductory-level course will address cortical visual impairment (CVI) in the pediatric population. CVI is the leading cause of visual impairment in children in the developed world. It is important for rehabilitation therapists to understand the unique presentation of a child with CVI and provide appropriate visual supports within everyday activities.
Participants will review neuroanatomy related to vision and visual processing, understand the profile of a child with CVI, and learn treatment approaches to enhance clinical skills and patient outcomes.
Cost: $80 for non-CHOP staff.
Credit for attending: OT and PT CEUs
