- For you all who have therapists performing habilitative feeding therapy in the NICU, what treating diagnoses are you all using?
From a utilization review and coding perspective, we have been asked to provide specific treating diagnoses as it relates to our services. Many of the neonatologists and NICU therapists do not feel like dysphagia is a proper diagnosis due to the developmental age of the neonate.
