BridgingApps is a website with the goal “to explore practical, useful, and educationally sound ways to use the iPad and similar devices with people of all ages and ability levels.” This search tool provides reviews and information on thousands of apps that have been designed or adapted to address a particular need or skill. All reviews are conducted by therapists or special education teachers and users can search for apps using specific criteria including: keyword, review status, price, category, age, skill, and language.
This website can help with the selection of the most appropriate tools for use in your practice or program and can also be a resource for families who are interested in educational apps for their personal devices.
