Bonnie Breit, former IPRC facilitator, received an award for her outstanding Community Leadership at the RCPA Annual Conference held in Hershey, Pennsylvania last month. Bonnie was nominated by Laura Crooks, Senior Director/Division Leader of Patient and Family Experience at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and past IPRC Steering Chairperson.
An excerpt from Laura’s nomination: “..[Bonnie] has truly made a difference in the world of pediatric rehabilitation. Bonnie’s tireless energy and dedication towards the IRPC is what led me to see the incredible professional that is Bonnie Breit. As an advocate and a thought leader, she is one of the prime drivers for starting the “IPRC Unblinding Project” – a project through IPRC that enables members to share WeeFIM data openly with each other, learning from each other about what is going well … and what each of us can do better…”
Bonnie was instrumental in the creation of the IPRC and continues to be a major contributor. This award is well deserved. Congratulations, Bonnie, and thank you for all of your efforts!
